GUARUJÁ . SANTOS

Both cities are great for those looking for something close to São Paulo for a quick trip or a few days. Santos, a port city and a historical landmark in the country’s history, has a mix of beaches, bars, restaurants, shopping malls and museums that bring life to the city. Guarujá, with a more beachy atmosphere, is a refuge for people from São Paulo, with 27 beaches of various styles, and is a great option for a dip in the sea.

ILHA BELA

Ilha Bela is a marine archipelago for those seeking contact with nature, in addition to offering events, parties, bars, restaurants, hotels and cafes with excellent tourist infrastructure. The island is a refuge with waterfalls, beaches, trails, boat trips and unmissable eco-tourism activities to connect with the local fauna and flora.

UBATUBA

Ubatuba, between the mountains and the sea, cut through by coves, is one of the most sought-after regions of the northern coast for its preservation and for being a surfing paradise. Trails in the Atlantic Forest, regional shopping centers and boat trips run along the more than 100km of green coastline along the 102 beaches that the region is home to. The Tamar Project is unique in the state.

VALE DA RIBEIRA

On the southern coast of São Paulo, Vale da Ribeira is named after the Ribeira River basin in the municipality of Iguape, known for the preservation of its forests and great ecological diversity, with approximately 21 percent of the remaining Atlantic Forest in Brazil. Neste conjunto de áreas preservadas são encontradas não apenas florestas e praias maravilhosas, mas importantes comunidades indigenas, comunidades quilombolas e comunidades caiçaras.
